The most reputable business schools can be seen in a university or college. But for those who can’t afford it, you can enrol in either the online program or distance learning version of the course. These unorthodox programs also offer degrees leading to business administration and other related fields. Plus, they offer minimal tuition already since there are no laboratory fees obviously involved in an online program or distance learning. Then there’s a third option – the community college. A business curriculum situated in a community college is mostly tailored after the known industries in a certain town. What’s more, the community college will help you land a job after graduation through its business connections. University / College

There are several bachelor degrees in business offered in a university or college but this type of institution primarily caters to programs leading to a master’s degree. Programs are mostly focused on operations management in relation to technology, marketing, financial control, international economics, negotiations, corporate accountability and a dash of organizational behaviour. In short, business students take industrial psychology as an elective too because they’re expected to handle people after graduating.

A typical one-week course costs about $5,000. These crash courses are mostly customized by companies packaged by a university or college to conduct finance training to their employees. Specific topics range from financial analysis of an organization to social enterprise and trade negotiation.

Onlne Program / Distance Learning

Surprisingly, even MBA degrees can now be achieved online. All the educational materials in the program are either emailed (in the case of an online high school program) or mailed (in the case of distance learning), including the examinations. The student is given a time frame to study the lessons and if ready, will take the online exam. In the case of distance learning, the exam is mailed. Some online business schools prefer to make a secure webpage for their students to log in their exams and get their educational materials. The grades are also reflected in that webpage.
